Hard to feed hard fruits and veggies in February 26, 2002

I found that hard fruits and Veggies like carrots where hard to feed into the juicer. It took alot of force on the pusher to get them to go through. Also not much yield in juice but tons of waste pulp. I know others who really like the champion but I didn't.
I now own a Norwalk, it makes great juice and leaves very little waste pulp, but is not convenient to use and the bags are a pain to clean.
