When the blender arrived, I found that the handheld vacuum pump and adapter were missing, so I contacted DiscountJuicers.com. Within hours, John sent me an e-mail. He apologized and and he would check into it immediately. In only a couple days, the hand pump and adapter where sent to my home. I tested the blender and the blender performed well. The serial number was absent from the specifications plate of the base, but was listed on the box. The customer service was excellent and I will buy from discountjuicers.com again.
