Well built but big shortcomings November 14, 2001

I bought this juicer to upgrade from my Juiceman Jr. The LEQUIP Mini does appear to be built more ruggedly than the Juiceman Jr. and the motor is not as quick to bog down under load. On the negative side, the screen although larger in surface area than the Juiceman, actually plugged up quicker. Before I got a quart of Juice, the screen was almost completely plugged. Also, even from the beginning of the session, the extraction was poor and the pulp in the waste bin was even wetter than that of the Juiceman. I may just keep using my Juiceman Jr.
