Hard to disassemble September 4, 2004
Reviewer: Billy from San Francisco

L'equip said assembling or disassembling the Mini 110.5 should be no problem even though I have arthritis in wrists. WRONG. The blade/basket is not a snug fit, but a very, VERY tight fit. This makes it very difficult/painful to remove.
It also means the unit may *seem* assembled but the blade will be not fully seated, and therefore in grinding contact with the feeder chute.
This is in stark contrast with the easy, clear feel of the Juice Fountain's ball-bearing mount.
L'equip's customer service person claimed they've never had such a complaint--hard for me to believe.
I'm disappointed because, in terms of price, aesthetics, size, and reviews, I liked the L'equip Mini 110.5 (white), but if you've got any pain in hands or wrists, or just want ease of assembly and disassembly, don't get it.
It's supposed to be easy to clean, but considering you have to remove the blade/basket to clean it, I find this claim to be blatantly untrue.
