Thought this blender was great for about a week. Plenty powerful though very loud. Got louder after about a week, wasn't sure why until when it was upside down in the drying rack I tried to spin the blender blade with my fingers, and found it very difficult almost impossible. I applied a good quality oil to the bearing and was able to turn it by hand. After repeated oilings, the blender is now 3 months old and the bearing is permanently seized. Poor quality components. I wasted my money, don't waste yours.
