We are proud to feature Omega Juicers at
DiscountJuicers.com
The Omega Products Family has been in business
since 1958. The owner and President, Mr. Robert Leo has been in the business since 1971.
Mr. Leo was President of the Acme Juicer Company from 1978 through 1984, when the company
was sold to the Waring Corporation. Mr. Leo then started Olympic Products in 1985. The
Corporation ran as Olympic Products for roughly 2 years then changed its name to Omega
products, Inc. Omega is one of the oldest US companies selling juicers.
We have found that Omega has excellent customer service and makes some of the
world's finest juicers.
Our
current favorite models are the Omega 8003 and Omega 8005. They are easy to clean
and great for making "green" juices that include leafy greens, celery and a few
carrots.
Centrifugal
Juicers - These juicers use a shredding disc and a strainer basket with
straight sides to hold the pulp in the machine. It keeps the pulp in the machine and
flings out the juicer much like a washing machine on the spin cycle. Click here for more information on this style juicer.
Centrifugal Ejection Juicers -
These juicers use a shredding disc and a strainer basket with
the sides of the basket that are slanted. This allows for the basket to be
"self-cleaning", so there is no need to stop the juicer and empty it out.
The pulp is ejected out of the machine, usually into a collection bin or basket. Click here for more information on this style
juicer.
Single
Auger Juicers - These juicers works with a slow turning single auger
that basically crushes the produce into the walls (or screen) of the juicer, and in the
process extracts the juice. Click here for
more information on this style juicer.
- Our pick for
the "best" machine in the Omega Juicer category. It is our recommendation
to you of the best buy for your dollar.
